Things I will never understand!
Sports
I’ll never understand why a bunch of beefy guys running around in tights ramming into each other chasing a pigs’s skin is more popular than a bunch of guys in lab coats trying to uncover the secrets of the universe.
Final Fantasy
I’ve followed the series since it was on the NES. Since the Playstation era I just don’t get what’s so great about it. I’ve tried numerous times to get into the series, but I just can’t penetrate the fanbase and the tendency to have redundant, riddle-filled dialogue.
Twilight
You know why.
Transformers
I never got into this as a kid. I don’t really like cars, or giant robots. So I just never understood why it was so popular. And don’t get me started on the crappy movies...
Furries
I’ve come to learn I need to just respect other people’s viewpoints on this matter. However that doesn’t mean that I need “understand” Furries, nor do I have to be inclined to. Let bygones be bygones I suppose.
Dungeons and Dragons
Again, never understood the point of this series. I suppose it’s about imagination and mathematics, but all I seem to see it doing is destroying the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien by making it geekier than it needs to be.
Klingons
Oh god... I hate Klingons. I never liked watching Klingon episodes on Star Trek, and while Worf is an awesome character, I never really gave a crap about the Klingon empire or it’s beefy brain-dead blood-lust citizens.

I TOTALLY agree about sports. I don't get what's so entertaining about it. Imagine what we could do if we spent half the time we do on sports as we do on science. We would be a lot further in research. Besides, I'm a HUGE science nerd too.

For Dungeons and Dragons, you just need a good group. Some people can ruin it for you (trust me, the only reason I can skirt around the jerks is by the amazing power of breasts), but a great group is like writing out a story with friends. Besides, some people are more than happy to help out with the rules...again, that requires a good group. I suppose its like anything really. I don't like some things because of the people, and I'm sure if there was a nicer group, then I'd be more open too.

I enjoy D&D myself, and yes, it IS confusing... I was a furry once (sorta still am-it's something of a long story, don't ask), and I don't get it either... ask five different people what it means and you get six different answers, y'know?

I'm not really into transformers, but it isn't so much the idea of cars or robots that they love. It's the story. I have a friend who is addicted to Transformers/Beast Wars. Not because of what they are but because she loves the story and characters like they was human beings.

Everything. I agree on everything. I like Final Fantasy, but that doesn't mean that I have to understand it.
Twilight is really stupid, a few months before it came out I had a dream similar to it and thought, "What was the point of that? I don't get it..." and then S.M. wrote it... it's fun to bash on, though... as long as you're not around any Twihards.

Just wanted to say thanks. I'm a furry and it's hard sometime coz mos tare so ignorant! I had even friends just saying thats so wierd and flame it. When i ask them why they can't even say why (just 1 had a good reason and said why) they just do coz they heard it from others. And geeks forgets how hard it was for things before but since so many are ok with it do they forget and do the same thing like others did to them.
So THANKS that you atleast are willing to try to respect us atleast.
@afterschock its mostly the style of pictures or in games etc. but there are some other areas aswell as in EVERYTHING!

I agree with most of that, but sport can be fun. Not being/living in America, I've only played a little Gridiron (American Football), so I can't really judge that. But, like most things, if you get into it it can be exhilarating (not to watch, I still don't get the fun in that).

I enjoy DnD! And you're right it's all about imagination. It's not about Tolkein's world though, it's an entirely different world. Some of the species may be the same but that's because they've become canon in fantasy world.
I agree with most of the rest of it, though I do enjoy football! (I know, i'm the weirdest girl, DnD and football)

Don't be so quick to judge D&D. I can, and often is, exactly what you describe it to be.
Or it can be a beautiful epic created by a mix of luck and ingenuity with complex characters created by a group of friends who enjoy spending 12 hours at a time with one another. Its like the most open-world rpg with less boundries.

I can understand Final Fantasy, it started sucking to me asthe only one I'd tolerate was Tactics, and that's it. Crystal Cronicles was ok but It didn'ttake me long to figure everything out and I fought the boss after finding the hideout (and if you've played it then you saw it the moment you crossed the river) and I basically ran through everything and they whined too much. Twilight... I won't bother with details. I just hate it.
Fuffies? I don't understand it enough to form a decent anything so meh
