The star of the comic and semi-based off the real artist Andrew Dobson. In the comic Andy is generally well meaning, but is prone to temperamental outbursts and gets frustrated easily.

Big Joe

Joe is Andy’s friend and is usually on hand to talk about problems he’s facing. Joe tends to miss the point a lot and has a very down to earth outlook on life in general. He’s also really really BIG.

Internet Chaz

Chaz is Andy’s summer intern, based on a real intern. He’s overly optimistic and has a very pleasant demeanor.

Curmudgeonly Carl

Carl is a fine arts professor reduced to teaching children in public schools. As a result his attitude is frequently negative and bitter. He has a fond remembrance for the days when artists used art materials and has a strong aversion to anything digital.
